  • Condition 2 - 3100 Vogue

    El Paso, Texas – At approximately 1:13 a.m. on Tuesday Jan. 19, the El Paso Fire Department was dispatched to a condition 2 fire at the 3100 block of Vogue Dr. when an El Paso Police officer saw flames and called 9-1-1. Upon arriving on the scene at 1:17 a.m., crews found flames coming from the roof of a house. Firefighters began to simultaneously fight the fire and search for residents. No one was inside the empty house.

    El Paso, Texas – At approximately 9:19 a.m. on Saturday Jan. 15, the El Paso Fire Department was dispatched to a condition 2 fire at the 8300 block of Mt. Baldy Dr. when residents of a house called 9-1-1. Upon arriving on the scene at 9:23 a.m., crews found smoke coming from the air conditioning unit of the house. Firefighters began to simultaneously fight the fire and search for residents. No one was inside the house because the residents had self-evacuated.

  • Condition 2 - 200 Lisbon

    El Paso, Texas – At approximately 3:53 a.m. on Friday Jan. 14, the El Paso Fire Department was dispatched to a condition 2 fire at the 200 block of Lisbon St. when residents of an apartment complex called 9-1-1. Upon arriving on the scene at 3:58 a.m., crews found heavy flames coming from the second floor windows of one of the units. Firefighters began to simultaneously fight the fire and search for residents. No one was inside the unit and the adjacent units had self-evacuated.

  • ComSAR Ron Coleman

    1/14/2016

    El Paso, Texas – At approximately 10:23 a.m. on Friday Jan. 15, the El Paso Fire Department was dispatched to the Franklin Mountain State Park when a hiker on the Ron Coleman sustained injuries and his fellow hikers called 9-1-1. The Combined Search and Rescue team was immediately dispatched to reach the hikers. The first unit arrived on the scene at 10:33 a.m. and made contact with one of the hikers who had come down the trail to point out where the injured hiker. Firefighters were able to reach the 26-year-old man at 11:05 a.m. and begin to treat his injuries at the scene. The ComSAR team brought the patient down from the trail at 1:06 p.m. and transported him to a local hospital with non-critical injuries.
